The other teams are not sleeping I am sure, and we'll see how much everyone has moved forward in Barcelona, but based on the way the team is working together at the factory and wind tunnel and then the superb implementation we see at the track I think we'll have an edge.

There
was a small problem with the rear left at the pitstop, and I lost four seconds
and positions to
Following
advice from Jock and the team, I decided to stay out on slicks and give it a go
when the first showers hit. I was out there just thinking please stop raining!
But it was the right call and it was a nice feeling to be leading the race for a
while.
Some of the calls on our pitstops were wrong, some were right, but overall we
weren't fast enough and didn't make the right decisions. Rubens made a good
start so we have improved in that area since
Lotus Racing’s first four races came to an end in China with another solid performance as the head of the new teams and for the first time coming out in front of one of their established rivals.
On the second set of inters we put on on lap 19 I was able to fight with the top guys, including Lewis, Sebastian and Felipe for quite a few laps, but then the tyres grained up and I had to pit again.
14th April 2010
Our car’s race pace has been good so far, and I think we’ll see that again in Shanghai – it’s a technical circuit that will bring out the best in both our drivers, and I think their experience will see us build on the solid start we’ve had so far.”
We have resolved the problem that Rubens had on the grid, and we will be
carrying out a series of starts practices during the Friday sessions. In terms
of car developments, we have been working hard on producing some aero
improvements for the front and rear wings for

The Force India F1 Team's Adrian Sutil will start tomorrow's Malaysian Grand
Prix from fourth on the grid following a faultless drive and a well-played
strategy in qualifying at the Sepang International Circuit. Tonio Liuzzi
completed the team's strongest qualifying performance this season by passing
through to Q3 for the first time this year. The Italian will start tenth.

“I’m speechless! What a day! To get 15th place in our home country, in front of our home crowd is amazing. I’m over the moon and just so excited.
31st March 2010
Sepang
is an awesome circuit, one that I love driving, and I think that I’ll be able to
further develop and improve my relationship with the car here. It’s a circuit
that not only requires smooth and precise input, but it also needs real
commitment through some of the high-speed stuff. I think it’s a circuit that
every driver loves

This is truly the proudest
moment for all of us to be here right in the heart of our capital city
31st March 2010
Looking
ahead to the race, the team performed well in Melbourne, even though we do not
yet have the pace to be competing right at the front of the field. Four points
finishes from the first two races puts us in third place in the Constructors’
Championship
31st March 2010
The Force India F1 Team is looking forward to this race after another positive weekend of racing action: for the second consecutive event the team made the grade for Q3 and converted the form to points in the race when Tonio Liuzzi picked up seventh position.

Rain
immediately before the start meant all cars began on intermediate tyres. Michael
was hit by Fernando Alonso in the first corner and was forced to pit for a new
nose, resuming the race at the back of the field. Nico was running in fifth
place at the end of lap one.
29th March 2010
It was a race that was decided on tyre strategies and rain, this may be how the 2010 Australian Grand Prix may be remembered, but there was all manner of excitement, incident and some brilliant driving skills.
It
was good to get some more points, but we need to bring more performance to the
car and to the engine.

The second place today is a fantastic result for Robert and the whole team in Enstone and Viry. We worked really hard over the winter and we can be very proud of this result.
27th March 2010
Qualifying
is a new experience for me and I’m still learning: it’s very busy out on track,
it was difficult to get a clear lap and I didn’t put my three best sectors
together when it counted on my final run.
27th March 2010
That
was a good effort from Rubens today to qualify in P8, even if he lost time in
traffic on his fastest lap. We only had enough tyres for one run in Q3 and
decided to send Rubens out early to avoid any potential rain.
I
think it shows a lot that our drivers are disappointed with these positions.
Last year we would have been delighted, but this year we expect more.
25th March 2010
No one said the first few races would be easy and
You've got to use every bit of the track, every millimetre of the circuit. It
looks more dramatic from the outside, but we're used to it. Maximise as much as
possible so you've got more room to get quickly through the next corner.
25th March 2010
It’s a track where you need good braking stability because it’s very bumpy in the braking zones. You also need good traction because the lap is mostly made up of second and third gear chicanes where a good change of direction is important.
Reliability
was never an issue in testing, and it was very unlucky that we retired with both
cars in
20th March 2010
Looking ahead to the next two races, the Australian Grand Prix is always a popular race with the teams and the fans so we hope to see a more exciting race at Albert Park next weekend.
18th March 2010
"So
far the team has reached every goal we set ourselves so that is fantastic. In
terms of my race, I had a good start and was battling with a lot of guys we
didn't think we'd be fighting with. My tyres were fine, and the pitstop was
good"
"Having
dropped down to 21st place to work his way up to 12th position was a great
achievement. He also made the soft tyres last for longer than we would otherwise
have expected and he also clocked the second fastest lap time, behind Alonso.
15th march 2010
Nico
lost a position to Hamilton at the stops and they remained in fifth and sixth
positions for the remainder of the 49-lap race. Nico chased down Sebastian
Vettel at the end of the race but was unable to pass in the turbulent air.
15th March 2010
At
least we finished. After the incident in the first corner it was the maximum we
could do. We had a good race in the end, learning a lot about the tyres and how
the car behaves at the end of a race, but the incident pretty much destroyed my
hopes of getting any points.
The
Bahrain Grand Prix saw Robert Kubica finish in 11th position, which was a
splendid result after a spin on the first lap. Teammate Vitaly Petrov
retired in the early stages of the race after a fault on his suspension that
was later blamed on the car.
14th March 2010
We
had some issues during practice but, through a huge amount of effort and late
nights put in by the team’s mechanics, we managed to keep them contained.
Sebastian Vettel came through to take pole from the two Ferraris in qualifying.
This is his sixth pole position in his short career.
Schumacher looking forward to the fight
10th March 2010
The car has not been completely at the level of other teams' cars at the end of the tests, true, but the amount of fuel was massively influencing this impression.
Force India discuss the preparations for the 2010 season
9th March 2010
In
summary we've learnt we have a well-balanced, stable car with no traits limiting
it, we just need to keep adding performance as best we can. I would say we are
in a mid-grid position and from that position we can seek to go forward and
capitalise within the race, hopefully finishing in the points as often as we
can.

The
Cosworth engine is also looking strong; it's powerful and reliable. We have
potential, but we have to wait to see where the competition is.

The closeness of the winter tests, our double-champion line-up, the return of a Formula One legend and the presence of four world champions on the grid mean that 2010 is already shaping up to be a classic season.
The Renault
team gives their verdict on winter testing and look ahead to Bahrain 2010.
8th March 2010
We
took a decision to run with heavy fuel at every test because we believed this
was the best way to understand and improve the car. In terms of outright
performance, I hope we are close to the top four teams.
